Journal of Genetics and Genomics (JGG) is now inviting submissions for a special issue (to be published in March 2022) on the topics of ‘Rice Biology’. Prof. Qian Qian, from China National Rice Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China, Prof. Makoto Matsuoka, from Bioscience and Biotechnology Center, Nagoya University, Japan, and Prof. Xuehui Huang, from College of Life Sciences, Shanghai Normal University, China, are the guest editors for this issue.

Submissions of original Research/Resource articles reporting new findings/methods and forward-looking Review papers on the following topics (but not limited to these) are welcome:

● Functional characterization of genes regulating agronomic traits

● Important genetics or genomics resources

● Heterosis dissections

● New methods and tools for molecular breeding

The portfolio will be open for incoming manuscripts until October 31, 2021. Accepted submissions will be published free of charge.

All manuscripts will undergo standard peer review and should be submitted through JGG's online submission system (https://www.editorialmanager.com/jgg). Please indicate ‘Special Issue on Rice Biology’ in the cover letter.
